What are you currently doing?
Since 2007, I have released two CD’s of original music (Lorraine Desmarais Big Band-2009 and Lorraine Desmarais Trio ”Couleurs de Lune”2012) toured Quebec and did a few concerts in France, Mexico and China. In April, 2016 I released my 12th CD ”Lorraine Desmarais Big Band Danses Danzas Dances” . In October, 2016 my trio was a guest for performing in Belgium at the Festival ”Jazz à Verviers”.

What does private arts philanthropy mean to you as a working artist?
Private arts philanthropy is a sign of great respect to me as an artist. Their generousity helps provide artists with a quality of life, and the ability to develop artistic goals.
