Un jury d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ves de <strong>4e ann\u00e9e<\/strong> a choisi l\u2019ouvrage prim\u00e9 dans le volet <strong>Livre illustr\u00e9<\/strong> et un jury d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ves de <strong>8e ann\u00e9e<\/strong> a choisi l\u2019ouvrage prim\u00e9 dans le volet <strong>Livre pour jeunes lecteurs<\/strong>.<\/p><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">Tous les jeunes jur\u00e9s lisent les livres s\u00e9par\u00e9ment puis, avec les autres membres de leur groupe, choisissent par consensus un laur\u00e9at \u2013 cette ann\u00e9e par vid\u00e9oconf\u00e9rence. Suze, la nouvelle \u00e9l\u00e8ve, ne s\u2019exprime pas verbalement et a des besoins particuliers, mais ses camarades de classe ne la comprennent pas toujours. Tyson, lui, prend le temps qu\u2019il faut pour interpr\u00e9ter les signaux de Suze, se noue d\u2019amiti\u00e9 avec elle et, ce faisant, apprend \u00e0 ses camarades ce que cela signifie que d'\u00e9couter et de comprendre les autres. Fast Friends montre comment deux jeunes ayant chacun ses probl\u00e8mes et ses points forts d\u00e9couvrent qu'ils sont exactement ce dont l'autre a besoin pour s'adapter \u00e0 la vie scolaire.<\/span><br \/><\/span><em><br \/><\/em><\/p><p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>CITATIONS<\/strong>\n<br><br>\n\u00ab Tyson et Suze sont tous deux passionn\u00e9s de vitesse, a not\u00e9 le <strong>jury d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ves<\/strong>. M\u00eame si Suze se d\u00e9place en fauteuil roulant, cela ne veut pas dire qu'elle veut y aller lentement. Les autres n'ont tout simplement pas compris ce qu\u2019elle voulait. \u00bb<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">\u00ab Tous les enfants r\u00eavent d'\u00eatre les h\u00e9ros des histoires qu'ils lisent, mais les livres sur les enfants handicap\u00e9s sont rares, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 <strong>l'auteure Heather M. O'Connor<\/strong>. Merci au comit\u00e9 de s\u00e9lection d'avoir inclus Fast Friends dans cette prestigieuse liste de finalistes et au jury de jeunes lecteurs d'avoir r\u00e9compens\u00e9 une histoire dans laquelle tout le monde a sa place. \u00bb<\/p><div class=\"clearfix\"><p class=\"translation-block\">\u00ab C'est un v\u00e9ritable honneur que de recevoir ce prix tr\u00e8s sp\u00e9cial, attribu\u00e9 par le groupe de lecteurs le plus important qui soit \u2013 les enfants!, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 <strong>l'illustratrice Claudia D\u00e1vila<\/strong>. O'Connor. Elle est \u00e9galement l\u2019auteure de nouvelles, de litt\u00e9rature fantastique et de fiction historique. Son premier roman, <i>The Betting Game<\/i>, a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9 en 2015. Ancienne directrice artistique des magazines Chirp et Chickadee, elle a \u00e9galement \u00e9crit et illustr\u00e9 la s\u00e9rie de romans graphiques <i>The Future According To Luz<\/i>. Ses Fausses Alarmes (c'est comme \u00e7a qu'elle appelle ses crises de panique) et d'autres \u00e9pisodes la conduisent \u00e0 s'isoler. Lorsqu'elle commence une th\u00e9rapie de groupe et rencontre Erin \u2013 volubile, extravertie et ne croyant pas en une \u00ab normalit\u00e9 \u00bb \u2013 Sara se retrouve en terrain inconnu, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire avec une amie. Mais la gaiet\u00e9 d\u2019Erin cache peut-\u00eatre quelque chose, et Sara commence \u00e0 se demander si, pour aider son amie, elle ne devra pas sacrifier leur amiti\u00e9.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"plain_black\"><strong>Citations<\/strong><br \/><\/span><\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">\u00ab Nous avons ador\u00e9 lire la vie bouleversante et chaotique de Sara, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le <strong>jury d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ves<\/strong>. En 2004, la famille a rebaptis\u00e9 le prix pour rendre hommage aux deux s\u0153urs.
