Toronto, 21 d\u00e9cembre 2020 - Le natif de Windsor Nate Friedman<\/strong> est le laur\u00e9at 2020 du Prix d\u2019encouragement Tim Sims<\/strong> de 2 500 $. Le Prix d\u2019encouragement Tim Sims<\/strong> honore un ou une artiste comique prometteurs en d\u00e9but de carri\u00e8re. Nate Friedman a \u00e9t\u00e9 choisie pour le Prix par la facult\u00e9 du programme \u00ab Comedy Writing and Performance \u00bb de Humber College.<\/p>\n

A propos Nate Friedman<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nate Friedman est un \u00e9crivain, acteur et com\u00e9dien, et r\u00e9cemment dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 avec les honneurs du Humber College for Comedy Writing and Performance, o\u00f9 il a re\u00e7u la bourse Joe Kertes en 2018 ainsi que la bourse David Goodman Comedy Scholarship en 2019. Il travaille actuellement sur une \u00e9mission t\u00e9l\u00e9visuelle pour enfants \u00ab Odd Squad Mobile Unit<\/a> \u00bb et il a termin\u00e9 son film court m\u00e9trage \u00ab Keto Crazy: The Documentary: The Movie<\/a> \u00bb qu'il a \u00e9crit, dirrig\u00e9 et dans lequel il a jou\u00e9 en utilisant son t\u00e9l\u00e9phone intelligent durant la pand\u00e9mie.<\/p>\n

Nate est \u00e9galement dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 de l'Universit\u00e9 de Windsor (2010) avec un baccalaur\u00e9at en sciences de l'activit\u00e9 physique humaine avec une mineure en psychologie du sport. Il a publi\u00e9 trois livres pour enfants, avec sa derni\u00e8re parution en f\u00e9vrier 2020, \u00ab Coffee Monster and the Land of Coffee<\/a> \u00bb ainsi que \u00ab The Last Hockey Fight<\/a> \u00bb (2018) et \u00ab The Coffee Monster \u00bb (2015). Il travaille actuellement sur l'adaptation t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9e intitul\u00e9e \u00ab The Coffee Monster<\/a> \u00bb. Nate adore jouer une com\u00e9die grand public avec des imitations et des personnages.<\/p>\n

A propos le prix d'encouragement Tim Sims<\/strong>
\nLe Fonds d\u2019encouragement Tim Sims<\/a> a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 par Lindsay Leese<\/strong> et \u00e9tabli en 1995 pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer l\u2019esprit et la m\u00e9moire de Tim Sims<\/strong>, un artiste comique, \u00e9crivain, directeur et collecteurs de fonds caritatifs reconnu de Toronto. Entre 1996 et 2014, le Fonds a attribu\u00e9 des montants de prix pour un total de 65 000 $ \u00e0 de jeunes artistes comiques en d\u00e9but de carri\u00e8re lors du spectacle annuel \u00ab Cream of Comedy \u00bb \u00e0 Second City. A partir de 2015, le Prix sera attribu\u00e9 chaque ann\u00e9e \u00e0 un dipl\u00f4mant du programme \u00ab Comedy Writing and Performance \u00bb \u00e0 Humber College et \u00e0 un dipl\u00f4mant du programme de conservatoire au sein du \u00ab Second City Training Program \u00bb.<\/p>\n
