En plus des 30 000$ (CAD) en prix offerts cette ann\u00e9e, les IVAs ont d\u00e9cern\u00e9, au cours des trois derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, un total de 70 000$ (CAD) \u00e0 des \u00e9crivaines autochtones pour des textes publi\u00e9s ou in\u00e9dits. Ces textes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9dig\u00e9s dans une pluralit\u00e9 de genres litt\u00e9raires, de m\u00eame qu\u2019en anglais, en fran\u00e7ais et dans une langue autochtone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Afin de transcender l\u2019individualisme associ\u00e9 \u00e0 la culture des prix litt\u00e9raires, et de sorte \u00e0 encourager la cr\u00e9ation de communaut\u00e9s, chaque ann\u00e9e des prix ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9cern\u00e9s dans au moins sept cat\u00e9gories diff\u00e9rentes. Toutes les finalistes sont invit\u00e9es \u00e0 participer \u00e0 des activit\u00e9s de mentorat en ligne con\u00e7ues pour nourrir les relations entre des \u00e9crivaines autochtones \u00e9mergentes et \u00e9tablies, de m\u00eame que pour apporter un soutien cr\u00e9atif et pratique dans leur d\u00e9veloppement de carri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"plain_grey\">Pour cette troisi\u00e8me \u00e9dition, les Prix Voix Autochtones ont \u00e9t\u00e9 administr\u00e9s par l\u2019Association des \u00e9tudes litt\u00e9raires autochtones (ILSA), un regroupement acad\u00e9mique bas\u00e9 sur les territoires r\u00e9clam\u00e9s par le Canada, et qui s\u2019int\u00e9resse \u00e0 l\u2019enseignement et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude des litt\u00e9ratures autochtones.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"plain_grey\">Cette ann\u00e9e, les finalistes des IVAs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnus dans huit cat\u00e9gories distinctes, refl\u00e9tant ainsi la diversit\u00e9 et la complexit\u00e9 des expressions litt\u00e9raires autochtones.<\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0<br \/><br \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>TEXTES EN PROSE PUBLI\u00c9S EN FRAN\u00c7AIS<\/strong><br>\n<strong>Laur\u00e9ate 2020: Naomi Fontaine, <em>Shuni \u2014 Ce que tu dois savoir<\/em>, Julie (M\u00e9moire d\u2019encrier)<\/strong><br>\nNomin\u00e9e 2020: J.D.
