It is also a\u00a0significant acknowledgement from benefactors who respect artists and recognize their work.\u00a0&#8220;<\/em><\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong><span class=\"blue\">What are you currently doing?<\/span><\/strong><\/p><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">Since 2007, I have released two CD&#8217;s of original music (Lorraine Desmarais Big Band-2009 and Lorraine Desmarais Trio &#8221;Couleurs de Lune&#8221;2012) toured Quebec and did a few concerts in France, Mexico and China. In April, 2016\u00a0I\u00a0released my 12th CD &#8221;Lorraine Desmarais Big Band Danses Danzas Dances&#8221; . In October, 2016 my trio was a guest for performing in Belgium at the Festival &#8221;Jazz \u00e0 Verviers&#8221;.<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"blue\"><strong>What did receiving the\u00a0Paul deHueck and Norman Walford Career Achievement Award in Keyboard Artistry mean to you?<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/p><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">Receiving the\u00a0Paul DeHueck and Norman Walford Career Achievement Award &#8211; Keyboard Artistry,\u00a0was a privilege and an honour, particularly being recognized by my colleagues (peers).
