What are you currently doing?<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Katie currently stars in the critically acclaimed Warner Bros animated feature \u201cStorks\u201d as the voice of \u201cTulip\u201d, alongside Andy Samberg and Jennifer Aniston, and has been referred to as a \u201cTV animation MVP\u201d by Rolling Stone Magazine. Her role as “Tulip” has earned her a 2017 Annie Award Nomination for Best Voice Performance In An Animated Feature. In addition to \u201cStorks\u201d, Crown voices lead characters in a number of animated series including \u201cClarence\u201d, \u201cTotal Drama Island\u201d, \u201cBarbie, Life in the Dreamhouse\u201d, \u201cAdventure Time\u201d, \u201cAmerican Dad\u201d, and \u201cBob\u2019s Burgers\u201d. Katie has written for \u201cClarence\u201d, \u201cSanjay & Craig\u201d, \u201cStar Vs. The Forces Of Evil\u201d and \u201cNathan For You\u201d, and has appeared on “CONAN”, “Last Call With Carson Daily”, “The Nerdist”, “Kroll Show”, and most recently “Flaked”. Katie was listed in LA Weekly\u2019s Top 10 Comics to Watch in 2012, and is one of the founding members of the Laugh Sabbath collective in Toronto. In addition to voice acting, Crown is developing her own animated series with Nickelodeon.

Winning the Tim Sims award was an incredibly validating experience. It increased my confidence as a comedian and made me take performing more seriously. The award money also helped me stop living on a friend’s couch and get my first apartment. I am very honoured to be a recipient!
