Toronto ON, le 3 d\u00e9cembre 2025 \u2014 Anna Gallagher-Ross<\/strong>, gestionnaire sup\u00e9rieure de la programmation \u00e0 The Bentway<\/a>, a re\u00e7ue la troisi\u00e8me Bourse cr\u00e9ative Jini Stolk<\/strong><\/a>annuelle. Cette bourse a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e en la m\u00e9moire de la leader artistique Jini Stolk et prolonge son h\u00e9ritage en soutenant le domaine de la gestion artistique au travers de la remise de vingt mille dollars sur deux ans \u00e0 un gestionnaire artistique d\u2019un organisme artistique de petite ou moyenne taille bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Toronto.<\/p>

A propos de Anna Gallagher-Ross<\/strong>
Anna Gallagher-Ross est une curatrice et une dirigeante artistique forte de quinze ans d\u2019exp\u00e9rience dans la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019exp\u00e9riences artistiques inclusives et novatrices \u00e0 Toronto et \u00e0 l\u2019international.<\/p>

Avant de travailler pour The Bentway, Anna \u00e9tait codirectrice artistique du Fusebox Festival et elle \n organisait un festival annuel ambitieux d\u2019artistes internationaux, ainsi que des r\u00e9sidences et des pr\u00e9sentations tout au long de l'ann\u00e9e. Au cours de sa carri\u00e8re elle a travaill\u00e9 pour des muses, des th\u00e9\u00e2tres, et des festivals \u00e0 travers le Canada, les Etats-Unis, l\u2019Europe et l\u2019Australie. Ses \u00e9crits ont \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9s dans Art Papers<\/em>, C Magazine<\/em>, The Walker Reader<\/em>, et d\u2019autres publications.<\/p>

Anna est dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e du Centre d\u2019\u00e9tudes curatoriales du Bard College.<\/p>

Cette bourse offre une occasion unique d\u2019approfondir mes recherches curatoriales et mon travail professionnel, contribuant ainsi \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9volution de la pratique de l\u2019art public comme catalyseur de dialogue civique, de lien social et de transformation urbaine. \u00bb<\/p>

Le project de bourse<\/strong>
Anna Gallagher-Ross a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9e parmi 18 candidatures. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la bourse Jini Stolk, Anna envisage de diriger la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une publication pour le dixi\u00e8me anniversaire de The Bentway, qui documentera son mod\u00e8le ancr\u00e9 dans le lieu et port\u00e9 par la communaut\u00e9 de pratique de l\u2019art public. Ce projet proposera un cadre curatorial et des outils pratiques pour inspirer des pairs et positionner The Bentway comme un chef de file en mati\u00e8re d'am\u00e9nagement cr\u00e9atif de l'espace public. La bourse offrira \u00e9galement \u00e0 Anna un mentorat, des opportunit\u00e9s de collaboration locale et internationale, ainsi que le temps n\u00e9cessaire pour fa\u00e7onner la vision de la programmation de The Bentway pour la prochaine d\u00e9cennie, faisant ainsi progresser ses recherches, sa pratique et son leadership dans le domaine de l'art public transformateur.<\/p>

Le jury compos\u00e9 de Claire Hopkinson<\/strong>, ancienne Directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale du Conseil des arts de Toronto et de la Toronto Arts Foundation, Jane Marsland<\/strong>, consultante et d\u00e9fenseure des arts, et Anahita Azrahimi<\/strong>, Directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale du Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 unanime dans leur d\u00e9cision.<\/p>

\u00ab Le jury a \u00e9t\u00e9 inspir\u00e9 par l\u2019optimisme et la vision de la proposition de projet d\u2019Anna. Le livre pour l\u2019anniversaire ainsi que la trousse \u00e0 outils pratiques promettent d\u2019inspirer de nouvelles fa\u00e7ons de penser la curation d\u2019art public, d\u2019engager de nouvelles audiences dans la construction urbaine cr\u00e9ative, et de laisser un h\u00e9ritage durable que toute la ville pourra c\u00e9l\u00e9brer. \u00bb<\/p>

A propos le prix<\/strong>
La Bourse cr\u00e9ative Jini Stolk est une r\u00e9compense annuelle qui encourage le d\u00e9veloppement dans le domaine de la gestion artistique gr\u00e2ce au d\u00e9veloppement professionnel, la recherche, le r\u00e9seautage et le partage. Le Fonds pour la bourse cr\u00e9ative Jini Stolk a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tabli \u00e0 la fondation des arts de l\u2019Ontario, et rendu possible par les donateurs principaux Sandra et Jim Pitblado et Tim et Frances Price, ainsi que de nombreux autres qui ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 la dotation qui soutient le fonds.
