Toronto, ON, le 26 novembre 2024 - Jaime Martino<\/strong>, Directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de Tapestry Opera, a re\u00e7u la seconde annuelle Bourse cr\u00e9ative Jini Stolk<\/a>annuelle. Cette bourse a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e en la m\u00e9moire de la leader artistique Jini Stolk et prolonge son h\u00e9ritage en soutenant le domaine de la gestion artistique au travers de la remise de vingt mille dollars sur deux ans \u00e0 un gestionnaire artistique d\u2019un organisme artistique de petite ou moyenne taille bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Toronto.<\/p>

A propos de Jaime Martino
<\/strong>\"\"<\/p>

Jaime Martino<\/strong> Jaime Martino est la directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de Tapestry Opera, laur\u00e9ate d\u2019un prix Ruby. Avec le directeur artistique Michael Mori, elle a lanc\u00e9 deux initiatives nationales, produit 14 premi\u00e8res mondiales et b\u00e2tit actuellement un nouveau studio de th\u00e9\u00e2tre au centre-ville de Toronto. En tant que directrice des op\u00e9rations de Pride Toronto, elle a dirig\u00e9 l'une des plus grandes c\u00e9l\u00e9brations des communaut\u00e9s queer et trans au monde. Elle est danseuse, chor\u00e9graphe, productrice, activiste, parente et une amie fid\u00e8le et sinc\u00e8re. Elle croit au changement transformationnel, \u00e0 la joie collective et \u00e0 l'art de l'\u00e9chec queer - elle sait que l'art peut changer le monde, si nous le faisons correctement.<\/p>

Jaime Martino<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9e parmi seize nominations. Avec les fonds fournis par la bourse, Jaime souhaite r\u00e9unir des acteurs de tout le secteur de la musique classique pour travailler ensemble \u00e0 la recherche de leviers dans leurs syst\u00e8mes afin de changer leur propre culture. Son objectif est que les syndicats, les associations industrielles et les dirigeants des grandes organisations travaillent ensemble pour fournir une formation, un soutien et une responsabilisation afin de rem\u00e9dier aux profondes in\u00e9galit\u00e9s dans les compagnies du secteur de la musique classique.<\/p>

\u00ab Je suis ravie et tr\u00e8s reconnaissante de recevoir la seconde bourse cr\u00e9ative Jini Stolk, et je prends tr\u00e8s au s\u00e9rieux la confiance et la responsabilit\u00e9 que repr\u00e9sente cette bourse, \u00bb dit Jaimie Martino<\/strong>. \u00ab Jini se souciait profond\u00e9ment de la fa\u00e7on dont nous travaillons ensemble pour cr\u00e9er de l\u2019art, et je suis inspir\u00e9e par son travail visant \u00e0 remettre en question et \u00e0 retravailler les syst\u00e8mes pour les rendre plus centr\u00e9s sur l\u2019humain. Je suis honor\u00e9e de perp\u00e9tuer son h\u00e9ritage et d\u2019utiliser les deux prochaines ann\u00e9es de cette bourse comme un moyen de poursuivre son travail pour cr\u00e9er un secteur plus bienveillant et plus inclusif pour nous toutes et tous. \u00bb<\/p>

La nomination de Jaimie s\u2019est distingu\u00e9e par son engagement envers la collaboration \u2013 des dirigeants d\u2019organismes aux associations industrielles en passant par les syndicats. La Bourse cr\u00e9ative Jini Stolk est une r\u00e9compense annuelle qui encourage le d\u00e9veloppement dans le domaine de la gestion artistique gr\u00e2ce au d\u00e9veloppement professionnel, la recherche, le r\u00e9seautage et le partage. Le Fonds pour la bourse cr\u00e9ative Jini Stolk a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tabli \u00e0 la fondation des arts de l\u2019Ontario, et rendu possible par les donateurs principaux Sandra et Jim Pitblado et Tim et Frances Price, ainsi que de nombreux autres qui ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 la dotation qui soutient le fonds.
