le 29 octobre 2024 - H\u00e9ritier Bilaka<\/strong> est la laur\u00e9ate du Prix Laura Ciruls<\/a>. Le prix d\u2019une valeur de 7 000 dollars est attribu\u00e9 chaque ann\u00e9e afin de reconna\u00eetre un(e) peintre r\u00e9sidant en Ontario et en milieu de carri\u00e8re.<\/p>

A propos de H\u00e9ritier Bilaka<\/strong>
\"\"H\u00e9ritier Bilaka<\/a> est un artiste peintre Canadien d\u2019origine Congolaise bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Ottawa. Il a obtenu son premier dipl\u00f4me en arts visuels \u00e0 l'Acad\u00e9mie des Beaux-Arts de Kinshasa en R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo, et un baccalaur\u00e9at en Arts Visuels avec mention Magna Cum Laude \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 d'Ottawa en 2023, ainsi qu'une bourse et un certificat de reconnaissance pour la qualit\u00e9 du travail de la Facult\u00e9 des arts de l'Universit\u00e9 d'Ottawa. Dans son parcours professionnel, il a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 des nombreuses expositions collectives au Canada et \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger dans des villes telles que: Toronto, Ottawa, Montr\u00e9al, Londres UK, Cannes en France, et \u00e0 New York.<\/p>

Certaines de ses \u0153uvres font partie de la collection permanente de la galerie d'art Maron'Ages \u00e0 Lyon, en France et dans des collections priv\u00e9es. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 en residence d\u2019artiste au Mus\u00e9e des beaux-arts Beaverbrook au Nouveau-Brunswick. Il continue sa recherche artistique avec l\u2019appui de Africa Museum \u00e0 Tervuren, Belgique, avec qui il s sign\u00e9 une convention de recherche depuis 2023. En 2023, la Ville d'Ottawa lui a accord\u00e9 le Prix de Semence - Fonds pour l'\u00e9quit\u00e9 et l'inclusion dans les arts.<\/p>

H\u00e9ritier a donn\u00e9 plusieurs interviews \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision et dans des articles pour parler de son travail - la plus r\u00e9cente est un film documentaire intitul\u00e9 Les couleurs de ma ville produit par Netherline Films. Le prix Laura Ciruls en peinture<\/strong>\n

\nLe Prix Laura Ciruls en peinture a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tabli par Laura Ciruls, graphiste et conceptrice de site internet professionnelle, et aussi une peintre en acrylique et aquarelliste traditionnelle. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un legs, Laura a cr\u00e9\u00e9 le Prix Laura Ciruls en peinture afin de reconna\u00eetre des artistes qui, comme elle, contribuent au d\u00e9veloppement de la peinture en Ontario.<\/p>

La Fondation des arts de l'Ontario g\u00e8re le fonds de dotation qui finance le prix. Le Conseil des arts de l'Ontario est responsable du processus de s\u00e9lection. Le laur\u00e9at, ou la laur\u00e9ate, est s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 dans le cadre du processus d\u2019\u00e9valuation par les pairs du Conseil des arts de l\u2019Ontario parmi les candidats \u00e0 l\u2019une des deux dates limites du programme annuel Artistes visuels \u2013 projets de cr\u00e9ation du Conseil des arts de l\u2019Ontario (cat\u00e9gorie artistes en milieu de carri\u00e8re).<\/p>
