Le prix de $15,000<\/strong> de cette ann\u00e9e r\u00e9compense l'excellence de l'ensemble d'une \u0153uvre de composition pour les medias.

A propos Debashis Sinha
<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Motiv\u00e9 par un profond engagement envers la primaut\u00e9 du son dans l'expression cr\u00e9ative, Debashis Sinha<\/a> a cr\u00e9\u00e9 de nombreux projets solo et collaboratifs audiocentr\u00e9s \u00e0 travers le Canada et \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger. Ses cr\u00e9dits de conception et de composition sonores comprennent des \u0153uvres pour la danse contemporaine, la vid\u00e9o, le cin\u00e9ma et des productions prim\u00e9es avec de nombreuses compagnies de sc\u00e8ne canadiennes de premier plan, y compris des relations artistiques de longue date avec Peggy Baker Dance Projects, le Festival de Stratford, la Soulpepper Theatre Company parmi d'autres.<\/p>

Sinha est un \u00e9ducateur engag\u00e9, ayant enseign\u00e9 \u00e0 l'\u00c9cole nationale de th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Canada, \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 York, \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 de Toronto et dans d'autres \u00e9coles au Canada et \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger. Son domaine de recherche actuel se concentre sur la production sonore \u00e0 l'aide de l'apprentissage machine et de l'IA, dans le but de d\u00e9couvrir de nouveaux modes et m\u00e9thodes de cr\u00e9ation d'histoires et de transmission culturelle. Le Fonds Louis Applebaum pour les compositeurs a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tabli \u00e0 la Fondation des arts de l'Ontario en 1998 par Louis Applebaum pour reconna\u00eetre l\u2019excellence en composition musicale quant \u00e0 tout genre que ce soit. Le prix est d\u00e9cern\u00e9 tous les deux ans dans les genres alternatifs suivants: media; th\u00e9\u00e2tre, th\u00e9\u00e2tre musical, danse ou op\u00e9ra; le jazz; et composition pour les jeunes.
