musique de chambre les plus illustres du Canada, le Quatuor \u00e0 cordes Orford acclam\u00e9 par la critique, et compos\u00e9 de Andrew Dawes, Desmond Hoebig, Kenneth Perkins et Sophie Renshaw, a \u00e9t\u00e9 mondialement reconnu pour ses interpr\u00e9tations de musique de chambre pendant plus de 25 ans.<\/p><p>En 1991, \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de son dernier concert au Festival de Sharon, il a lev\u00e9 des fonds pour cr\u00e9er une bourse de musique de chambre et a \u00e9tabli un fonds de dotation aupr\u00e8s de la Fondation des arts de l\u2019Ontario.<\/p><p>A partir de 2014, le mandat du fonds changera afin de soutenir un prix biennal reconnaissant les musiciens et musiciennes de chambre \u00e0 cordes canadiens et canadiennes aux premiers stades de leur carri\u00e8re
