Etant donn\u00e9 que les fonds \u00e0 long terme peuvent \u00eatre mis en place de diff\u00e9rentes fa\u00e7ons et avec divers degr\u00e9s de flexibilit\u00e9 pour s'adapter \u00e0 des circonstances impr\u00e9vues, il est n\u00e9cessaire de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir aux d\u00e9tails avec beaucoup d\u2019attention.<\/span><\/p>

Types de fonds de dotation<\/strong><\/p>

Fonds \u00e0 capital restreint : Dans ce type de fonds, le capital est d\u00e9tenu \u00e0 perp\u00e9tuit\u00e9 et le seul paiement autoris\u00e9 est le revenu, d\u00e9fini par la l\u00e9gislation fiscale sur les int\u00e9r\u00eats, les dividendes et les gains nets de capital, tant qu'il satisfait le contingent des versements de bienfaisance \u00e9tabli par l'Agence du revenu du Canada.<\/p>

Fonds capital : Bien que le capital de ce fonds soit d\u00e9tenu \u00e0 perp\u00e9tuit\u00e9, les revenus et\/ou le capital peuvent \u00eatre vers\u00e9s aux organismes artistiques, \u00e0 la discr\u00e9tion des fiduciaires\/conseil d\u2019administration de la fondation. Ces paiements sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement \u00e9tablis en fonction des r\u00e9sultats de placement \u00e0 long terme, et une partie du revenu peut \u00eatre conserv\u00e9 pour prot\u00e9ger la valeur du capital contre l'inflation.<\/p>

Fonds orient\u00e9 par le donneur : Ce fonds est d\u00e9tenu par le fiduciaire et le capital \/ revenu est vers\u00e9 selon les directives du donneur du fonds. Le donneur peut choisir de prendre cette d\u00e9cision sur une base annuelle ou donner la discr\u00e9tion au fiduciaire, encadr\u00e9 par certaines lignes directrices.<\/p>

Prix\/bourse : Ce fonds est d\u00e9tenu \u00e0 perp\u00e9tuit\u00e9, avec le revenu utilis\u00e9 pour financer des prix et des bourses sp\u00e9cifiques pour m\u00e9rite artistique, la performance, ou le soutien pour l\u2019\u00e9ducation en arts. Le fonds peut \u00eatre structur\u00e9 de telle sorte qu'un montant sp\u00e9cifique est disponible chaque ann\u00e9e.<\/p>

Fonds capital \u00e0 dur\u00e9e d\u00e9termin\u00e9e : Ce fonds est \u00e9tabli et le capital investi, comme d'habitude.
