Ces dons peuvent \u00eatre mis en \u0153uvre au cours de leur vie (impliquant la planification fiscale), ou en tant que legs apr\u00e8s leur d\u00e9c\u00e8s.<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">Un legs est la fa\u00e7on, une derni\u00e8re fois, pour un donneur de d\u00e9montrer de mani\u00e8re tangible son soutien \u00e0 votre mission artistique apr\u00e8s leur d\u00e9c\u00e8s<br \/><br \/><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"blue\"><strong><em>Qu'est-ce qui est important \u00e0 savoir sur le legs?<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">Le don planifi\u00e9 est \u00e9pisodique - la plupart des donneurs abordent le sujet avec h\u00e9sitation. Il n'y a souvent aucun \u00e9v\u00e9nement particulier qui d\u00e9clenche la d\u00e9cision de faire un don planifi\u00e9 ou un legs dans le plan successoral. La d\u00e9cision prend du temps et vous ne recevrez pas le don pendant des mois ou des ann\u00e9es.<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">Lorsque vous g\u00e9n\u00e9rez des dons l\u00e9gu\u00e9s ou planifi\u00e9s, commencez par consid\u00e9rer vos donneurs \u00e0 long terme, leur profil d'\u00e2ge et leur profil d\u00e9mographique et la nature de leur engagement envers votre organisme.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Pensez \u00e0 leur poser la question: \u00ab Compte tenu de votre engagement envers notre organisme, avez-vous d\u00e9j\u00e0 consid\u00e9r\u00e9 un cadeau h\u00e9rit\u00e9 ? \u00bb<\/p><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">S'ils r\u00e9pondent, \u00ab Oui \u00bb, confirmez d'abord pourquoi ils veulent donner et ensuite comment ils veulent que le don soit utilis\u00e9.<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">En utilisant leurs objectifs comme point de d\u00e9part, partagez avec eux les fa\u00e7ons dont ils peuvent avancer en leur fournissant des informations g\u00e9n\u00e9rales sur les dons planifi\u00e9s, et les r\u00e9f\u00e9rer \u00e0 leurs conseillers juridiques \/ fiscaux. Utilisez un langage facile \u00e0 comprendre, car cela peut \u00eatre des eaux inconnues pour eux. (Si vous parlez trop simplistement, ils vous le diront rapidement et vous pourrez ajuster votre choix de langue en cons\u00e9quence).<br \/><br \/><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"blue\"><em><strong>Comment puis-je g\u00e9rer la conversation de mani\u00e8re optimale?<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">1.   Rappelez-vous que la conversation ne porte pas sur une \u00ab transaction \u00bb. Vous parlez avec quelqu'un de leurs objectifs de vie, qu'il s'agisse d'un don planifi\u00e9 fiscal ou d'un legs futur. Dans des limites raisonnables, laissez le donneur parler de leur vie, de leurs r\u00eaves et de leur vision pour votre organisme. Votre conversation porte sur eux et ils peuvent offrir des informations pr\u00e9cieuses pour vous aider dans d'autres efforts de collecte de fonds.<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">2.   \u00c9coutez activement et posez des questions claires pour les aider \u00e0 clarifier les objectifs et \u00e0 souligner les opportunit\u00e9s. Vous comprendrez mieux leurs motivations tout en les guidant de mani\u00e8re collaborative vers le r\u00e9sultat satisfaisant pour eux.<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">3.   Une d\u00e9cision de don est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement partag\u00e9e par les conjoints \/ partenaires. Impliquez les deux parties \u00e0 la conversation et ne pr\u00e9sumez pas que vous savez qui est le \u00ab d\u00e9cideur \u00bb.<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">4.   Les donneurs peuvent vous dire qu'ils ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 fait un don l\u00e9gu\u00e9 ou planifi\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur testament \/ succession - mais ils peuvent choisir de ne pas divulguer le montant. Vous pouvez leur demander s'ils veulent partager cette information, mais vous devez respecter leur vie priv\u00e9e. S'ils ont fait un legs, il se peut qu'il se passe plusieurs ann\u00e9es avant qu'il ne soit r\u00e9alis\u00e9. Que le cadeau soit de 1 000 $ ou de 100 000 $, assurez-vous de les remercier car ils sont un bienfaiteur appr\u00e9ci\u00e9.<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">5.   Discutez de leur reconnaissance. Le donneur souhaite-t-il \u00eatre reconnu, et quand et sous quelle forme voudrait-il \u00eatre reconnu ?<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">6.   Continuez \u00e0 rester en contact et reconnaissez le(s) donneur(s) comme supporters \u00e0 long terme. Votre incapacit\u00e9 \u00e0 rester en contact peut entra\u00eener la r\u00e9vision de leur plan successoral.<br \/><br \/><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"blue\"><em><strong>Soyez pr\u00eat entant qu\u2019organisme<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">Si la recherche de legs \/ de dons planifi\u00e9s refl\u00e8te vos objectifs de collecte de fonds, votre conseil d'administration devrait \u00e9laborer une \u00ab politique d'acceptation de dons \u00bb pour expliquer comment l'organisme souhaite g\u00e9rer ces dons. Le conseil devrait envisager une politique qui clarifie les moyens de :<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li><span class=\"plain_grey\">Diriger les legs\/dons inconditionnels pour la programmation artistique et les op\u00e9rations de fonctionnement actuelles<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"plain_grey\">Investir dans la durabilit\u00e9 \u00e0 long terme de votre organisme en utilisant un fonds \u00e0 long terme pour encourager l'innovation, les nouvelles productions, la pr\u00e9servation d'un b\u00e2timent ou le changement de mission \/ vision au fil du temps. (Ceux-ci deviennent souvent des dons de dotation)<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"plain_grey\">Attribuer les dons \u00e0 des activit\u00e9s de sensibilisation ou d\u2019\u00e9ducation communautaires, y compris des prix artistiques et des bourses d'\u00e9tudes pour artistes et\/ou jeunes au sein de votre organisme ou discipline artistique.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">Une politique \u00ab d'acceptation de dons \u00bb fait partie d'une gouvernance judicieuse.<br \/><br \/><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"blue\"><em><strong>Sur qui devrais-je me concentrer ?<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"plain_grey\">Engagez les supporters qui sont les plus susceptibles d'envisager une planification interg\u00e9n\u00e9rationnelle a le plus de sens. Consid\u00e9rez les personnes de plus de 50 ans qui commencent \u00e0 penser \u00e0 leur h\u00e9ritage personnel.
