The Tom Phillips Prize was established in 2025 to support emerging visual artists, media artists and craft artists to express in their artwork a personal response to the world around them. The selection process is managed by the Ontario Arts Council, and is open to all applicants to the OAC’s Visual Arts Creation, Media Arts Creation, and Crafts Projects programs.
Prizes are awarded in each of 7 categories: painting, sculpture, installation, drawing, printmaking, media arts and ceramics.
